Our #Bobcats4Bobcats Virtual Race is a virtual 5k Run/Walk/Ride with a unique twist. Participants will complete an additional mile, totaling 4.1 miles, to raise funds for tuition assistance.

Why Participate?

This #Bobcats4Bobcats Virtual Race promotes school spirit, philanthropy, wellness and positive experiences families can share together.

Participation is NOT limited to members of the Lourdes Academy community.

How Much Does It Cost?

The cost to participate is $10 per participant. The registration fee includes a personalized, digital bib, as well as a certificate of completion. Each participant must complete his/her own registration form HERE.

When?

The #Bobcats4Bobcats Virtual Race can be completed at any time, from May 10-18, in one or more attempts.

Choose A Team

Choose one of seven teams to support on race day:

  • Team Freshmen [GREEN]
  • Team Sophomores [ORANGE]
  • Team Juniors [RED]
  • Team Seniors [PURPLE]
  • Team OLLA (Faculty/Staff) [ROYAL BLUE]
  • Team Alumnae [TURQUOISE]
  • Team Future Bobcats [PINK]

Race bibs will be color-coded by team.

Where

Complete the race in your own neighborhood, anywhere in the world, at your convenience.

What to Wear

Show your #BobcatPride on race day by dressing in your class shirt and gear (i.e., OLLA Fest garb). Non-students are encouraged to wear Bobcat gear and/or blue.

An award will be given to the most spirited participant on each team.

Proof of Completion

Upon completion of the race, upload proof of completion to the Post-Race Form, on or before May 20.  The link to the Post-Race Form will be emailed along with the digital bib. Evidence could include a screen shot of your choice of running app (i.e. MapMyRun, Runtastic, Nike Run Club, etc.), your iPhone or Apple Watch – whatever GPS device you choose to use to track and pace your run.  The only evidence required is proof of completion of distance – 4.1 miles.  The certificate of completion will be emailed to each participant, once this evidence is submitted.

For those who may wish to participate in the race competitively, they will have the option to upload proof of their time and pace to the Post-Race Form; this data will be used to select the Fastest Runner, Fastest Walker and Fastest Bike-Rider in each of the seven teams, as well as the Fastest Overall.
