Our SWENext Club celebrated National Engineers Week with various activities planned throughout the week. On Saturday, Feb. 20 and Sunday, Feb. 21, the girls attended the Introduce A Girl To Engineering Day presentation, hosted by the Society of Women Engineers at the University of Miami. Throughout the week, they also attended a presentation about sustainability and resiliency by Mr. Austin Perry from the University of Miami and hosted two eLearning series activities on robotics and 3D Design. Special thank you to Technology Director Ms. Veronica Recio ‘73 for coordinating the week’s events.
