Official report cards are issued quarterly in October, January, April and June. The final report card in June is mailed to parents.  Report cards are issued in alpha grades on a scale of A+ to F.  A grade of C- (70) is passing.  Students earning final grades below C- (70) will not earn credit for the course.  The following factors are considered in determining grades:

Competence: the degree of mastery in each subject measured by tests, examinations and other evaluative tools;

Assignment and Preparation: the degree of mastery reflected through the quality, completeness, regularity, consistency, preparation, and initiative;

Participation: the degree of mastery indicated by class participation and interest in the subject; and

Work Habits: the degree of mastery evidenced by promptness, accuracy, independence, dependability, use of time, attentiveness, initiative and originality.

Progress Reports

Progress reports are e-mailed to all parents approximately four weeks before the end of each quarter.  This report gives parents a snapshot look at their daughter’s academic progress in each course.  It is intended to help parents and students manage academic performance and desired outcomes.  For students struggling in any course(s), earning a grade below a 72 on the progress report, acknowledgement of receipt of this report is required.
